I've been so excited to see the teachings of Queen Afua in Sacred Woman. So far it's been ok. I will continue to read but bc of one factor yes one but a huge one for me is the recommendation of replacing meat immediately with soy. I'm plant based about 95%of the time but every so often I do consume fish. How ever soy is an absolute NO NO. I get trying to get people off meat I completely agree but to suggest soy which is toxic to the body is ludicrous. As a teacher with followers, I'm sadden just by this one printing she's wrote in such a powerful book. To each their own but I will be very picky while continuing this book as I don't follow anyone completely but others will and soy isn't what I would want taught to Queens around the world. Just my thoughts. I really wanted to like this book for the natural practices for women's bodies and health tips, but couldn't get past the rituals and introductions of another religion.This book was listed in the Christian section and it's anything but. Upon opening the book and trying to get through multiple pages it was extremely difficult as it's painfully obvious the author is going into spiritual realms and dimensions that just doesn't sit well as it doesn't seem to be of God. I pray that all of my sisters in Christ use discernment and ask the Father for guidance if planning on reading.
